Monday's Card-of-the-Day

Daniel's Page of Swords
We had another fabulous three-weekend together, Susan and I. Sunday we got inspired by Law of Attraction. Susan discovered that a show about travel in Marrakech was finally on the TV. This is where, just last week, we wanted to go. We were studying Arabic and reading the Quran and learning Salaat prayers. Susan came in the bedroom when she heard that I was awake--she usually rises 3 or 4 hours before me. We sat up in bed and talked quietly, all along watching the rising sun; the dawn lightening up the sky, first red, then pink, then orange. We determined that we would travel: first to Florida in January to see Bentley, and then to Morocco. Last week Susan's co-worker have her a coupon for 20% off. She look at luggage at JC Penney's. Later that Sunday morning we drove to the Northtown Mall and found a 3-piece, 24" luggage set with wheels. We got two: Susan's selected the red one, and I picked the tan-orange set. While driving home to our lovely apartment--which takes 6 or 7 minutes (as contrasted to the 40 minutes drive to Medical Lake--we debated whether we should go for a walk. It was starting to get warm outside. But we decided that we, who were determined to travel to hot climes--Florida, Morocco, Thailand, China, India--we up to it, and felt that we get used to it, to the heat. And so we did, and it was fine. We took some cheese and grapes and a bottle of water with us. Just into the walk, while still trekking up infamous southside hills, Andy called with some good news. He was at a friend's house when they were visited by the Comcast technician. Andy and the tech were talking, and it was revealed that Andy was the one who wired (networked) the Youth Center. He told Andy that he should be working for Comcast, and the tech called his boss and setup an appointment for him for noon today. Susan was so jazzed about that news and who things were falling into place, all according to the Law of Attraction.
