Card of the Day
Susan's XIV Temperance
Daniel's VIII Strength
We had a great weekend together of course. The weather was in the mid-50s. We walked both Saturday and Sunday. Started seeing flowers and buds and green grass. Susan's cold in gone, and my "great matter" has cleared up. Susan had a great inspiration this morning: picking numbers for the Lotto from the number of the Card of the Day that we each pick. Brilliant.

I have been absent for awhile, but some news in the wonderful world of Susan & Daniel. We heard in email that Bentley has a fiancee. She's Thai and her name is Aon. Bentley has kept this secret from everyone for over a year. Wow. The 2nd bit of news is that Susan has bronchitis. She was off work most of last week. I went to the doctor yesterday: I have an abscess.

Sunday

Susan announced to me after apparently much thought that she has decided not to return to Lakeland if the offer presented itself. She figured that I had assumed this was the case, but she wanted me to know that she has finally and formally come to a decision.

Tuesday

Susan informed me that we got 3 numbers last night on our lotto ticket. That's encouraging. It is foggy this morning about 31, but the road look OK, Susan is not too concerned. She lost 3 points when weighing herself this morning, and that is encouraging, too. Her revelation was that "the dark side, the dark queen, feeds off our despair," and Susan is refusing to let that happen. Good girl!
